
The government of Ontario has recently tabled a bill called “More Homes, Built Faster Act” it would have several legislative changes. Part of that bill proposes building 3 units in the place of 1. THe act would override municipal zoning laws. Details here.

On the topic of intensification and zoning laws how would you feel about having next door what is being referred to as a monster house in Richmond Hill. I have no problem with contrasting architecture in an established neighbourhood. In fact I prefer when architecture is of its time, my problem has always been volume and setback.
