Decorating with Disco Balls
So decorating with disco balls is the latest design trend. They are quite fun, aren’t they! Disco balls are akin to bubble wrap in that it’s hard to feel sad when it’s nearby. So go ahead go a bit crazy and get a disco ball.
Repurposing Unused Closet
An unused closet! Those words are a bit odd to me – but lets go along with it. Interesting ideas here. I do have concerns: Do the work professionally. Is the new purpose transferable? Does it look real or is it obvious you’ve built… in a closet. Can it be put back? These concerns come from seeing too many improvided spaces in closets that dont really work. If your purpose is strictly personal great. If it’s to increase the value of your home be cautious.

2019 Design Trends
I’d like to think that for myself I try to avoid the trends. Trends, especially some can be quite costly as they come and go and leave you looking like 2017. That being said some do have stronger influence and permeate our world. And so keeping up with what’s in and what’s out means you at least know. I’m glad to read that mixing metals is in. I have some brass furniture and silver and I’ve never been concerned about that. Well it’s not that I didn’t care it’s that I was being fashion forward!
And just the other day I took a screenshot of a stage set on Bull noticing the mixed metals.

A week into the return to school and perhaps you’re realizing you need a better study centre. Here a suggestion, or two, and some pointers.
Kitchen Backsplash Ideas
The kitchen backsplash is a nice finish. Tiles is the obvious answer but not the only answer. Here Apartment Therapy proposes a few others. Careful that some of these ideas might require more maintenance what you are willing to provide. Remember also that you do something very personal it may not increase the value of your home if it is too personal.
