Great Urban Design
Some very nice urban design ideas here. Love the public bench flower bed. The reflective fence also! A French expresion comes to mind “Joindre l’utile à l’agréable.” which loosely translate to “combine form and function”.

Magnetic Window Cleaner
This seems like a good idea, better than walking on a roof or climbing up the too tall ladder.
I’m in an older building window the lower window is plain but the upper window is divided into 6 by muntins so that would not work.
For true entertainment value you must look at the video.
10 Most Peaceful Countries in the World
We really are quite fortunate to live in Canada. And we’re in very nice company with other countries in this list!
Rideau Canada Crossing
Fifth Avenue to Clegg Street
The Glebe to Old Ottawa East
Construction of the pedestrian and cyclist bridge between Old Ottawa East and the Glebe has started.
The city says it’s multi-use not only because you can cycle, walk, or jog across it, it highlights multi-use activities you can do on either side of the canal. Says you can meet your friends for dinner on Main Street or you you can shop on Bank Street – I wonder if the reverse is supported or encouraged.
Once it’s up be wild, go against the current, and shop in Old Ottawa East, and eat in the Glebe. What else might you be coming from or going to!
I’ll see you September 14, 2019 Fifth Avenue shall we say 7pm for dinner in the Glebe.
